What youll be doing...
You will be responsible for application security, compliance, project and program management for the sales and order management organization within Verizon. You will manage and execute activities related to security and compliance, infrastructure (hardware and software) security. You will also coordinate cross-team, cross-portfolio projects and programs, develop and report scorecard metrics, and provide ad-hoc reporting. Facilitate and coordinate with employees and contractors to support and drive initiatives for best security practices across the entire CIO/VP organization, including multiple director teams with global reach. Partner with similar teams at the CIO level to align with business and IT security objectives for the organization as a whole to secure applications. Manage and abide by Governance, create plans and execute on major security initiatives that drive efficiencies and strategic application advantage to the portfolio. Examples of the projects include systems security, compliance, Public Cloud Migration, Security architecture, Application resiliency, etc. Coordinate with engineering teams to gather evidence for internal and external audits. Provide executive level status on program roll out progress. Ensuring each application POC/ custodian understands the program and what is expected of them, deadlines, and provide training when needed. Monitoring all programs, ensuring all deadlines are met based on program activities. Attend compliance and security scheduled meetings, representing VP organization. Assist in the development and implementation of new risk initiatives, including policies, processes and awareness programs. Manage GRC activities for portfolio. Track remediation for internal and external audit findings. Have knowledge of Archer or another GRC tools.
What were looking for...
Youll need to have: Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience. Six or more years of relevant work experience. Technical experience in applications and operating environments. Experience with security architecture and strategy. Experience in leading cross-portfolio, multi-functional teams, Experience on security tools such as Fortify code scan, Blackduck, Nessus, Webinspect, or RASP. Experience with compliance functions & Audits (such as PCI, CPI-810, GDPR, CCPA, or SOX). Knowledge of external facing firewall protection tools (WTD web threat detection, WAF web appl firewall). Knowledge of asset management systems. Experience Creating/Updating Policies/procedures/controls required for Audits and global clearance. Experience rolling out & managing compliance and security programs for IT organization.
Even better if you have: Masters degree in Computer Engineering and / or relevant technical disciplines. CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification. Excellent communication, presentation skills, organizational skills. Strong knowledge of development, testing, infrastructure, operations, technical architecture, Application Operations, Production Operations, Data Base, and corporate functions (e.g. security compliance, etc.). Architectural knowledge of key technologies and disciplines, such as DevOps, AIOps, APM technologies, Log Management, Synthetics. Experience with Executive communication. PMP or ITIL Foundation certification. Experience in applications development. Experience in technical project management. Knowledge with a broad range of new and emerging technologies and tools, especially in the cloud security and DevOps field. Knowledge of tools such as ITSD, CART, VAST, VZIDG, GCM. Familiarity with business operations for large organizations.
