The Project Manager oversees the contract according to the PWS and to ensure the execution of the contract to government standards and to CW Resources expectations. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to the military base located in Killeen, TX. The Project Manager is responsible for supervising many workers at Ford Hood, TX

Role and Responsibilities

Job Duties

  • Supervision of work force composed primarily of disabled persons
  • Planning daily work schedules
  • Responsible for insuring that all daily and periodic shelf-stocking tasks are completed as scheduled, and according to specified quality standards and within budget limits
  • Participating in daily communication with Commissary personnel to ascertain problems/concerns, reach decisions regarding appropriate solutions, and to maintain a high level of satisfaction in terms of quality service, and effective communication at the facility
  • Thorough knowledge of contract statement of work and adherence to performance standards
  • Performing custodial duties
  • Monitoring the use of supplies and equipment and requests additional supplies as needed
  • Training program participants/employees in orientation to the building, proper work techniques, and schedules, usage and conservation of supplies, operation of equipment, and safety practices
  • Orientation of all program participants/employees on rules and regulation of the facility and of CW Resources
  • Maintaining employee attendance records and computation of timecards as needed. To include case counts as needed
  • Communicating with the case manager in a timely manner regarding program participants performance or behavior issues
  • Developing standards or performance for employees
  • Completing of all necessary paperwork, whether required by the commissary or CW Resources, to include, but not limited to quality control reports, case counts, task completing reports, employee warning, and performance evaluation, and performance evaluation, supply inventory, time studies/performance measurements, etc.
  • Assisting in special jobs during scheduled hours and on weekends, as requested by Supervisor
  • Review contract and become familiar with terms and conditions
  • Monitor submittals and track deliveries of material
  • Review all custodial tasks and ensure that they are up to par
  • Collect and submit daily reports, project documentation
  • Maintain client relationship
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Supervisory Responsibilities

    Supervise employees and program participants assigned to work on the Custodial Contract.

    Safety Responsibilities

  • Comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulatory standards and procedures
  • Ensure that applicable personal protective equipment is available, in proper operating condition, and used for each job performed
  • Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition and that all safe guards are in place
  • Immediately report accident, incidents/near misses to Human Resources, your Supervisor and the Safety Manager.
  • Essential Duties

  • Ensure that the contract runs smoothly
  • Ability to delegate task to APM and other leads on the contract
  • Ability to ensure all employees are working up to the standard
  • Qualifications and education requirements

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • Minimum of two years of custodial experience
  • One year in a Supervisor experience preferred
  • Experience working with disabled personnel preferred
  • Preferred Knowledge

  • Ability to manage the assigned contract in a smooth, efficient manner by keeping cost under control, handling personnel effectively, and maintaining good relationships with Custodial personnel
  • Completion of daily janitorial tasks as scheduled
  • Completion of paperwork assignments accurately and promptly
  • Consistently performing to the standards of the statement of work without deductions for deficiencies.
  • Ability to train and instruct workers assigned to custodial contract, to analyze and suggest more effective and efficient procedures and methods of operation
  • Serving as a role model to employees and clients
  • Ability to implement procedures to minimize employee accidents, waste of supplies, and damage to equipment

  • Physical Demands

    The incumbent will spend time at work standing, walking and occasionally lifting heavy objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds regularly, while occasionally push and or pulling up to seventy (70) lbs.

    Background Screening

    Must submit to background check prior to hire and ongoing as dictated by contract. Must be able to pass criminal and drug screening processes to meet current contract eligibility requirements that apply.
